Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Sayona ("the Service"), operated by Utkarsh Awasthi, an individual based in Pune, India ("Sayona", "we", "us"). By signing up or using Sayona, you agree to these Terms.
The service
Sayona is a voice-to-text Chrome extension that processes spoken input and returns clean, written text. It uses third-party services including AssemblyAI (transcription) and Groq (text processing).
Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
Free and Pro plans
Sayona offers a Free plan (50 transcriptions/month) and a Pro plan (unlimited transcriptions and additional features). Plan details and pricing are available at sayona.io.
Payments
Pro plan payments are processed by Dodo Payments (dodopayments.com), our merchant of record. All billing, refunds, and payment disputes are handled by Dodo Payments. By purchasing a Pro plan, you agree to Dodo Payments' terms of service.
Refunds
Refund requests are handled through Dodo Payments. You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase if the service did not work as described.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to reverse-engineer it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Data and privacy
Your use of Sayona is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Voice data is processed by AssemblyAI. On AssemblyAI's free tier, audio may be used to improve their models — see our Privacy Policy for full details.
Third-party services
Sayona relies on AssemblyAI, Groq, Supabase, and Dodo Payments. These services have their own terms and privacy policies. Sayona is not responsible for their actions.
Availability
Sayona will make reasonable efforts to keep the Service running reliably but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may be updated, changed, or discontinued at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Sayona is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Changes to these terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of Sayona after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Pune, Maharashtra.
